Hari is back after a small break. The ‘Singam’ director will start shooting his next project ‘Venghai’ from today, a film which will bring him together for the first time with Dhanush.

Produced by B Bharathi Reddy on behalf of the famed Vijaya Productions, the film will have Tamannah as heroine. Remember the same production house made Dhanush’s ‘Padikadhavan’ last year with the same Tamannah as female lead.

And interestingly, it was Bharathi Reddy who also produced ‘Thamirabharani’, one of the earlier films of Hari. “These factors have raised expecations on the movie,” sources close to the director say.

Devi Sri Prasad, who composed chartbusters for ‘Singam’, will score music for ‘Venghai’ too. Rajkiran, Kalabhavan Mani and Ganja Karuppu will play important roles. Cinematography is by Vetri and editing by V T Vijayan.
